The Tenby Chase Sharks are very proud of their coaching staff.  Over the past six years, the Sharks have won 80% of their meets while doubling the number of swimmers qualifying for Tri-County.  More importantly, the team spirit and the fun that the coaches have with the team is second to none.

Head Coach Danielle Hoey - Danielle is starting her sixth year as a coach for the Sharks, her fourth year as the Head Coach.  She has also been the Head Coach of the Delran High School Coed Swim Team and this past year was an assistant coach for the Camden County YMCA Crocodiles.  During the non-summer months, Danielle is a kindergarten teacher in a neighboring town.  Danielle grew up in Tri-County swimming, first with the Sharks and then with Pomona and then back to the Sharks as a coach.  Her classroom teaching of youngsters and her high school coaching experience make Danielle an ideal head coach for the Tenby Chase Sharks!

Assistant Coach Patrick Messmer -  Patrick is a Junior at the University of Rochester, studying German, Political Science, and Economics. He swam in the Suburban Swimming Association for 7 years, with Hammonton, Chartwell, and finally Medford Village. Patrick also swam for 4 years at Shawnee High School and is currently continuing his career at Rochester. A former backstroker, he converted to distance freestyle last year. Patrick also plays water polo for Rochester. During the summer months he does as many open water races as he can. As a certified WSI, he volunteered at Medford Village last year, helping kids with stroke and turn technique. He also served as an SSA official at meets
